Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for verifying dimensions, specifications, fitment and application requirements, material requirements, and process compensation before ordering or fabrication. SolidMetric is not responsible for errors in customer-provided files, drawings, or measurements.

Custom Fabrication Work

Custom fabrication includes customer-uploaded files, customer drawings, modified or custom geometry, one-off fabrication work, and CAD adjustment services.

Custom fabrication orders are generally non-returnable once production has begun. Production will only begin after the quote is confirmed and payment is received unless otherwise agreed.

Standard Catalog Products

Standard catalog products include standardized flange products, catalog fabrication items, and repeatable non-custom components.

Standard catalog products may be eligible for return or review if they are unused, uninstalled, undamaged, and reported within a reasonable timeframe. Contact us at info@solidmetric.ca to initiate a return request.

Digital CNC File Purchases

Digital DXF, DWG, and CNC file purchases are generally non-refundable once the files have been delivered or downloaded. Digital files are sold as-is for fabrication use. Buyers are responsible for verifying suitability, applying appropriate kerf compensation, and confirming compatibility with their specific process and equipment.

Quoting & Approval

Quotes are based on the information provided at the time of request. Production will only begin after the quote is confirmed. Quotes are reviewed manually based on material, fabrication complexity, quantity, and delivery requirements.

Material & Tolerances

Cutting results may vary depending on material type, thickness, and geometry. Typical tolerances are maintained within standard CNC laser cutting practices. Customers should specify any tighter tolerance requirements at the time of quoting.

Delivery & Fulfillment

Shipping and delivery options are reviewed based on order size, material, fabrication requirements, and destination. Delivery and shipping costs are calculated separately based on order size and destination. Pickup is by scheduled appointment only — open walk-in pickup is not available.

Lead Times

Estimated turnaround times are provided for reference and may vary depending on workload, job complexity, and material availability.

Limitation of Liability

SolidMetric is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, products, or digital files.

Service Refusal

We reserve the right to refuse any request or order at our discretion.
